Birthday Party Ideas in Queens: Celebrating at a Hookah Lounge

By Desert Rain Lounge, Forest Hills, Queens · November 2, 2026

Short answer: For a birthday at Desert Rain Lounge, send a booking request on the Parties page or call (929) 386-0057, then pick the $200 bottle package (one bottle, two mixers, one free hookah). Everyone in your group must be 21+.

A lounge birthday is easy for the person planning it. There's no venue to decorate or catering to order, just a table, drinks, hookah, bar food and your people.

Why do people pick a lounge for a birthday?

• Everyone can talk. It's a lounge, so you can hear each other.
• It works for any size group, from four friends to a bigger crowd.
• It runs late. Desert Rain is open until 2 AM every day.
• It's simple to budget, especially with the bottle package.

How does the bottle package work?

The $200 package includes one bottle, two mixers and one free hookah. Ask our team about the current bottle selection. It's the easiest way to set up a birthday table. More detail in how bottle service works.

How do you book?

1. Send a request on the Parties page with the date, time and how many people.
2. Our team replies to confirm. Your table is set once they do.
3. Tell guests the address: 107-29 Metropolitan Ave, Forest Hills, NY 11375.

Friday and Saturday fill up first, so book a few days ahead for weekends.

What should guests know before they come?

• Bring valid ID. It's 21+ only.
• There's bar food, like wings, fries and mozzarella sticks, if the group gets hungry.
• Check the events page: if your date lands on a themed night, that can make the party.

Ideas that make it feel special

• Pick a signature hookah mix as the birthday flavor (Strawberry Margarita and White Gummy Bear is a popular one).
• Start with a round of shots ($6 each).
• Book on a game night if the birthday person loves sports.
