Hookah Flavors Guide: All 28 Flavors at Desert Rain and How to Pick

By Desert Rain Lounge, Forest Hills, Queens · November 2, 2026

Short answer: Desert Rain has 28 hookah flavors, all the same $50 price. If you're new, start with a fruit flavor plus mint (like Watermelon and Mint), or a signature mix such as Queen: Paan, Lemon and Mint.

A long flavor list is fun until you're the one holding it while the table waits. Here's the list grouped the way most people actually choose.

Fruity flavors

Blueberry, Grape, Grapefruit, Guava, Kiwi, Lemon, Mango, Melon Dew, Orange, Passionfruit, Peach, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Tropical and Watermelon.

These are the easiest place to start. They're bright, they mix well with each other, and almost everyone at the table will like at least one.

Minty and cool flavors

Mint, Gum Mint, Ice Mint and Blue Mist.

Mint makes everything feel smoother and cooler. A little mint in a fruit bowl is the most common combination for a reason. Blue Mist is its own thing: a blueberry and mint blend that's one of the most popular flavors anywhere.

Sweet and dessert-style flavors

Vanilla, Coconut, White Gummy Bear, Pink Lemonade, Strawberry Margarita and LOVE 66.

These are for people who like something softer and sweeter. Strawberry Margarita and White Gummy Bear together are one of our house blends.

Classic and spiced flavors

Double Apple, Spiced Chai and Paan Raas.

Double Apple is the classic: anise-forward, a little like licorice, and a favorite of long-time hookah smokers. Paan Raas is based on paan, the betel-leaf treat, and is the base of our Queen mix.

How do you pick a flavor for a group?

You can combine two or three flavors in one bowl. Our signature mixes are a good shortcut.
